Like a web page of your own?
This page shows the kind of single page that you can have for $50.
The single page will be a sub page of this site and would have an address like this example:

http://www.sunshinecoastartists.org/Bodhi_Drope.html

Your text can include anything you wish to say. Try to use strong keywords that best describe the image or what you wish to say. Think about including a photo of yourself and a biography bit for either your first or final image.

How many images can I have on my page?
You may have up to 10 pictures on your page. They will be resized from your high res photos to a resolution of 72 and final heights as shown here of either 250 or 300 pixels. Just tell which height and I will make all you images the same height.

Page Header
See examples top of this page for 3 choices for the top of your page.
1. You may create a graphic header image of your own like Bodhi's that includes your name, resolution 72 dpi, width 773 x height 176.

2. You may create a graphic header of your own that includes your name, resolution 72 dpi, width 575 x height 176.

3. If you do not create your own name image, your name will appear in large text as it does on this page. Supply the side image to be sized at 72 res, 134 wide by 165 high.

Send high res .jpg pictures
Please name each photo in the style of these examples starting with your name then strong descriptive words. Leave no blank spaces and use_underscores_between_words. I don't mind resizing but do not wish to rename submitted photos. Aiming for descriptive words rather than titles will create better search value for your page.

Please send high res images and I will resize them if you are not able to do that at your end first.

Can I have flash, animation or shopping cart?
Nope, sorry. What you want is a complete web site and this is only a single very nice web page on offer.

Text to match your photos
Please submit text to appear beside each image in an email using the following example as a guideline:

Text 2
Cast bronze rabbit sculpture, , 18 inches by 38 inches. Good descriptive text, etc, etc....j lkjclj ijio mlkml kmdj lkmlk mdl kmldm jdao mkld lkmkc;l .sfm ljlmk sklf isfgm blah blah blah....

Text 3
Ann Smith has been painting on the Sunshine Coast since 1987. Her paintings jj j ijoij ijij iji mkjnvdsfkvm dsfv, blah blah blah....

Also send Alt Tag text if you wish so I can put strong descriptive text secretly in behind each of your images. An example would be Ann Smith, painter, abstract painting, Gibsons, BC, landcsape painter.

Text styles (purple_heading style)

The text styles of your page as the same ones shown on this site. All text is black on white page.

Body is simply this style. All text will look like this unless it makes sense to apply a different style to it.

If you bold some significant words in your submitted text I will apply the body purple style to them to make them stand out.

There is a nice larger style for headings if you would like that for titles on each text box.

Click on hot pink links to visit each artist's own website. Visited links will appear gray

Will you proofread my text?
No, I will just cut and paste your text into the correct boxes. I will correct any horrendous spelllink mistookes that jump out at me but will not specifically proofread your submitted text.

Can I make changes to my page once it's up?
Please make sure all your text matches your images and you have carefully checked all spelling. I can make some changes but for $50, this has to stay within reason as this is an extremely reasonable price for a web page without the hassle or learning curve of creating one yourself.

How much text can I put up in each text box?
Since I am simply cutting and pasting your text, that is completely up to you. The images and text sit within an invisible frame of up to 10 images.

Send me good page keywords that describe you and your work:
example: acrylic painter, landscape painter, harbour harbor paintings, boat paintings with pastels, Sechelt, BC

Send me a good page description:
example: Ann Smith is a landscape painter in Sechelt, BC, specializing in harbour scenes done in acrylics and pastels.

The better we build your page, the better it will search. Yippee!

Contact Ann Smith
Make sure to include whatever contact info you would like posted. This may be just your email address but could also include your postal or physical address, telephone number or whatever you want to post. Your contact info would probably appear in either the first or last text box alongside your bio photograph is you wish to include one.
